Police Arrest Sex Offenders From Nashua And Manchester On Various Duty To Inform Charges

NASHUA, NH — Three sex offenders were arrested by Nashua police this month on various duty to inform felony charges, according to police.

Timothy Omara, 59, of Manchester, was arrested on Jan. 12 on a felony duty to report-subsequent, change of registration information-duty to inform-subsequent, and identity fraud charges, all felonies.

According to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, police received information accusing him of being noncompliant with his registration in mid-November 2025.

“It was reported that Omara had moved into Nashua, establishing a legal address, and failed to register the change of information as required by law,” he said. “Through the course of the investigation, Omara also failed to conduct a required semi-annual sex offender registration at the Nashua Police Department.”

Detectives investigated further and learned he was arrested in June and July 2025 and was accused of using another person’s identity during the arrest process. Omara also used another person’s identity to obtain medical treatment at a local hospital, Cinelli said.

Omara was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 13 in Nashua District Court.

According to the state of New Hampshire sex offender database, Omara is a sex offender due to a felonious sexual assault of a victim 13 or older and under 16, and an age difference of more than three years, conviction in June 1994 in Essex County, Massachusetts.

A few days after Omara was arrested, police received information that Adam Egerton, 30, of no fixed address, was also noncompliant with his sex offender registration. Cinelli accused him of failing to respond to the police after two changes in his employment status. Detectives forwarded the case which led to an arrest warrant against him on two felony counts of change of registration information-duty to inform and he was arrested on Jan. 21.

Egerton was held on a probation-parole detainer and arraigned on Jan. 22.

The state said Egerton is a sex offender due to a conviction on three counts of possession of child sexual abuse images in March 2023 in Hills South.

On Jan. 23, Jai Boyer, 46, of Nashua, was arrested on two counts of duty to report, both felonies.

Cinelli said police received information that Boyer was also noncompliant with his registration requirements on Dec. 17, 2025. He was accused of failing to register two changes of residence after moving to the Gate City from out of state.

Boyer was held on preventative detention and scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 26.

Boyer, according to court records, is a sex offender due to aggravated felonious sexual assault and felonious sexual assault convictions from June 2010 in Hills South.
