Houle was accused of firing a Maverick Arms 12-gauge shotgun out of the window of an apartment on Heon Court, a heavily populated neighborhood. He was arrested on felony reckless conduct-deadly weapon and resisting arrest or detention charges. The resisting charge, according to a court document, involved Houle interfering with a police officer and refusing to comply with verbal commands.

Houle refused bail and was taken to the county jail. He was arraigned by video on Tuesday. Houle’s counsel entered pleas of not guilty to the resisting arrest charge but no plea to the reckless conduct charge. He was held on preventive detention.

A probable cause hearing is booked for June 3.
