Queen City Man Accused Of Kicking, Spitting On Litchfield Cops
Patrick Roy was arrested after being accused of assaulting police officers and fleeing from an incident on Greenwich Road.

LITCHFIELD, NH — A Queen City man was arrested Saturday on charges after a dispute led to the man fleeing the scene and being accused of kicking and spitting at cops. Around 8 p.m., officers were sent to Greenwich Road for a report of a domestic dispute. After investigating the incident, officers determined that the dispute was verbal in nature only, according to Capt. Thomas Scotti of the Litchfield Police Department.
"Roy was intoxicated and when the police attempted to take him into protective custody, he fled the scene," Scotti alleged. "After a short foot pursuit, Roy continued to resist and while doing so, intentionally struck one of the officers in the face."
Roy, 22, from Manchester, was transported to the police headquarters. During processing, officers put a mask on Roy, "for precautionary measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic," Scotti said.

"Roy then removed the face mask and spit on another officer," Scotti stated.
