Untimely Deaths In Nashua Ruled Murder-Suicide: Attorney General

NASHUA, NH — An untimely death investigation in Nashua has been ruled a murder-suicide, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office. Nashua police and fire and rescue teams were sent to an apartment complex on Millwright Drive at 8 a.m. Sunday for a check the welfare call. When they arrived, they found a vehicle from Massachusetts outside of the building.

After gaining access to the building, two bodies were found inside of the home.

A state medical examiner performed autopsies Monday and determined a woman inside of the home, Marci Tenovsky, 56, had been killed after being shot twice in the head. The manner of her death has been ruled a homicide.

A man, identified as John Kerrigan, 77, died after a single gunshot wound to the head. The manner of his death has been ruled a suicide.

"Although the investigation into the circumstances surrounding these two deaths remains active and ongoing, at this point in the investigation, it appears that John Kerrigan shot and killed Marci Tenovsky and then shot and killed himself," said Kate Spiner, the director of communications with the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.
