HUDSON, NH — A Windham man is due in superior court next month after being accused of aggravated driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident in Hudson Saturday. At just before 1 a.m., New Hampshire State Police were sent to Hudson to assist police with "a serious motor vehicle crash" on Old Landfill Road, according to Lt. Bryan Trask of Troop B. Trask said Zachary Nardini, 24, of Windham, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck on the road when "he lost control of his vehicle and exited the right side of the roadway where he struck a telephone pole." A passenger, a 23-year-old Hudson woman, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, he said.

She was taken to Southern NH Medical Center by Hudson emergency medical personnel. Nardini was evaluated but refused transportation.

"The subsequent investigation determined that the contributing factor to the crash was Nardini’s impairment and he was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated," Trask said.
