Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Our Mission.”, captures the purpose that drives everything we do. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

Somewhat sad that "happy warrior" Matt Mayberry of Dover will not be among the candidates for New Hampshire's 1st District U.S. House seat, I am more than satisfied with State Senator Andy Sanborn of Bedford's ability and credibility. His love of liberty is matched only by that which he exudes for wife, State Representative Laurie Sanborn, with whom he has not always agreed on candidate endorsements! Andy is independent minded and enjoys hearing about other people's lives and plans for the future. I've seen him genuinely ask questions with interest of college students gathered to get to know him. A bartender, an entrepreneur, a survivor, I am grateful for Andy's willingness to share his servant's heart with us. Stories about bureaucratic hypocrisy encountered in his places of business, opioids in his communities of care, and opportunities most everywhere can awaken, inform, and inspire.
