Blanchard Brings Songs to The Music Hall Loft Thursday

French-American singer-songwriter hailed as "a profound, mature talent."

French-American singer-songwriter Francesca Blanchard will be making her Portsmouth debut at The Music Hall Loft, Thursday, July 16, according to a press statement.

The 23-year-old has been called a “a profound, mature talent” who “displays guile and artistic sensitivity that would be the envy of many tunesmiths twice her age. She may be young, but she has an old soul.“

Born and raised in France, Francesca traveled the globe with her family before she settled in a small town in Vermont.Francesca‘s first full-length album, deux visions will be released Oct. 2, 2015, and was produced by Montreal singer-songwriter Chris Velan (Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars) and mixed by acclaimed producer Jean Massicotte (Lhasa, Patrick Watson, Arthur H, Jorane). The album reveals inspirations ranging from Norah Jones and Carla Bruni to Eva Cassidy and Francoise Hardy.
