Bomb Threat Reported at Portsmouth Middle School

UPDATE: Police give all-clear after officers, first responders were called to a threat incident.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - The Portsmouth Police Department is at the middle school investigating a bomb threat, according to police. The alert was sent out at just after 9:30 a.m. on May 25, 2016.

On Facebook, police said the threat was "similar in nature to the call earlier this week at the high school."

Emergency services are handling the situation at the moment, police noted, adding that "more information to follow as it becomes available to us."

The all-clear at the middle school was given by police at just after 11 a.m.
