Calling all Local Authors - Sign Up for Portsmouth Author Fair
Signups begin next week for September event.

The Portsmouth Public Library invites published authors to apply for a table at its Local Author Fair, to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, according to a press statement.
Special guests will include Portsmouth author Katherine Towler and award-winning writer James Patrick Kelly.
Local authors are invited to join in the fun and promote their published works. The event is free of charge and the library will provide tables. Participants will only have to bring their books, money to make change, and their enthusiasm for writing and reading. Attendees will be eligible for a prize after visiting tables. This will a great opportunity to meet other authors, publicize your work, and talk with potential readers!

Spots will open on July 6 for Portsmouth residents, with remaining spots open on July 22 for authors living within 20 miles of the library.

- Aug. 7: Deadline for all author sign-ups.
