Fugitive Task Force Bags NH Man on Bail Violations Warrant

Kejuan Williams was wanted by Rockingham County Sheriffs after being arrested for criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, other charges.

CONCORD, NH — A Seacoast man wanted on a warrant for bail conditions violations from an incident in September 2016 has been arrested by U.S. Marshals, according to a press statement. Kejuan Williams, 44, of Somersworth, was arrested on Jan. 20, 2017, on the outstanding warrant.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the fugitive task force was asked last week to try and find Williams after the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department and Corrections Officers were unable to locate him.

William was arrested on Sept. 11, 2016, on criminal threatening, criminal threatening, domestic violence-simple assault, criminal mischief, and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs, and a bench warrant by Portsmouth Police, after he allegedly busting out a window on Woodbury Avenue during a dispute. He was later released on bail.

On Christmas Eve 2016, officials attempted to contact Williams at his home in Portsmouth after it was noticed that his GPS monitoring bracelet was not charged. They were unable to locate him and a warrant was issued on Dec. 27, 2016.

“The NH Joint Fugitive Task Force was asked to assist in the apprehension on Jan. 18, after initial attempts to locate Williams were unsuccessful,” according to Deputy Marshal Jamie Berry. “On Jan. 20, information was developed that Williams was staying with an associate in the Somersworth area. Williams was located in a residence on Crystal Springs Way, and arrested without incident.”

Williams was transported to the Rockingham County Department of Correction pending his initial court appearance. This arrest was made by the cooperative effort of several members of the US Marshal’s, NH Joint Fugitive Task Force, including; the Rockingham County & Strafford County Sheriff’s Offices and Somersworth Police Department, along with deputy U.S. Marshals.

Along with the previous arrest in September, Williams was also arrested in November 2015 on a bench warrant after police were sent to Maplewood Avenue for a report of a man trying to grab a person. Williams had an active warrant out of Rochester and was arrested. He was later charged with criminal threatening and harassment, according to Fosters.com. He was also arrested in December 2014 in Dover on a warrant.
