Hampton Man Arrested On Drug Charges: Portsmouth Police Log

Plus: Nashua man, Dover man, and Kittery, Maine, woman face drunken driving charges.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — William Dominguez, 40, of Mary Batchelder Road in Hampton was arrested at 4:51 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2022, on possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of controlled-narcotic drugs. He was arrested on a warrant at police headquarters.

Matthew P. Potter, 31, of Iris Court in Nashua was arrested at 12:38 a.m. on Oct. 23 on a driving while intoxicated charge. Rockingham County reported a driver following a Toyota pickup truck from Rye, driving into Portsmouth, accused of being all over the road. The caller said the vehicle went into a ditch a few times in North Hampton, too. The caller also reported the truck went through a red light and almost struck a car. Police caught up with the vehicle on Lafayette Road, and after field sobriety tests, the driver was arrested.

Megan Winfield Sprague, 48, of Wolfeboro Falls was arrested at 8:37 a.m. on Oct. 22 on a warrant and bench warrant. On Court Street, police checked and confirmed the warrants out of Strafford County, and she was arrested.

Garrett Matthew Swan, 22, of Ivans Lane in Dover was arrested at 11:28 p.m. on Oct. 21 on a driving while intoxicated charge. Police were sent to Pleasant Street for a report of a driver crashing their car into a fence. A witness stated the driver was intoxicated and “staggering” around. The driver climbed back into the car and drove away, the report said. The caller reported the vehicle also had a deflated tire. Portsmouth Fire and Rescue were also requested to the scene.
