Manchester Man Accused Of Drug Dealing In Portsmouth
Granite Shield interdiction leads to a charge against Everton Sterling. He was arrested in 2016, accused of possessing $16K worth of drugs.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — A Queen City man is facing another drug dealing charge in Portsmouth after a Granite Shield operation in the city, according to police. Everton Sterling, 35, of Manchester, was extradited from Maine Monday where he was picked up on a sale of a controlled narcotic charge warrant issued by Port City police. Sterling was targeted as part of a Granite Shield operation, according to Capt. Darrin Sargent of the Portsmouth Police Department.
The charge against Sterling occurred after an investigation by the Portsmouth Police High Intensity Drug Interdiction Team, he noted.
Sterling is being held in the Rockingham County Jail on a probation warrant. He is due to be arraigned in Rockingham County Superior Court on a felonies first protocol.

Sterling, according to previous posts on Patch, is no stranger to police.
Back in January 2016, when he was living in the Bronx, New York, he was arrested on numerous drug charges after Seacoast police and the Drug Enforcement Agency accused him of being in possession of $16,000 worth of cocaine and marijuana at a local hotel.
