Overdose on a Bus Leads to Warrant Arrest: LOG

Portsmouth Police: Woman charged domestic violence after "ripping" hair out of another woman's head on Gosling Road.

Rita Leo, 41, of Gosling Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 1:24 a.m. on Dec. 8, 2015, for domestic violence. Officers were sent to the home for a report of two women fighting with one reportedly hitting the victim. “She was ripping her hair out of her head and tried to shove her face into the elevator,” according to the report. Some substances, including alcohol, were allegedly being consumed. Police arrived and arrested Leo.

Galen G. Kelley, 58, of Blue Heron Drive in Portsmouth, was charged at 11:12 a.m. on Dec. 8, for city ordinance license and rabies vaccination violations. She was charged after police were sent on animal calls on Joan Avenue and Blue Heron Drive.

Josh Colbath, 35, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 7:53 p.m. on Dec. 8, for violation of probation or parole. Portsmouth Fire and Rescue teams as well as police were sent to Grafton Drive for a report of an overdose on a bus. At the emergency room, police learned that Colbath had an active warrant and tried to double-check it with New Hampshire State Police but were unable to confirmed. He was arrested and held.
