Portsmouth Police Log: Man Tased After Incident on State Street
Plus, Somersworth man arrested for theft and Portsmouth woman allegedly assaults a family member.

Michael H. Grigioni, 45, of Myrtle Street in Somersworth, was arrested at 4:08 a.m. on Oct. 14, 2015, on a theft by deception charge. He was arrested by Somersworth Police on a Portsmouth warrant.

Mark D. Passmore, 26, of Oakgrove Church Road in Lumberton, NC, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 15, on a disorderly conduct charge. Also arrested was Christopher S. Alexander, 30, of Eastern Avenue in Rochester, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest or detention. Officers were sent to State Street for a report of people yelling and screaming that might lead to a possible fight. When police arrived, the reportedly had to Tase one of the people involved in the incident. A second fight, reportedly involving around seven people, was reported about 30 minutes later on Hanover Street but all involved dispersed when they heard the sirens.

Tara L. Smith, 41, of Gosling Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 9:18 a.m. on Oct. 15, for domestic violence. Officers were sent to Gosling Road for a domestic with one woman alleging that another, a family member, had assaulted her. Smith allegedly fled the scene and a BOLO (be on the lookout) call was issued to area police departments, including Newington. A 12-hour domestic hold was also issued. About an hour later, Smith was found and taken into custody.
Jessica Serafini, 28, of Addison Place in Dover, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. on Oct. 15, for driving while intoxicated and a bench warrant. Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of South Street and Richards Avenue. The driver, Serafini, had an active warrant. She was also given a field sobriety test and arrested.
