Portsmouth Residents Charged with DWI: Log

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Rafael Franco, 33, of Freedom Circle in Portsmouth, was arrested at 5:52 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2016, for driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Peverly Hill Road.

Jason M. Kingsbury, 41, of Melbourne Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, on a warrant. Police were sent to Melbourne Street for a report of a man and woman yelling at each other and the sound of breaking glass. When police arrived, they reportedly found a woman in a vehicle and a man reportedly broke a window at the home. The man had an active warrant and was arrested.

Margaret S. Smith, 30, of Sagamore Avenue in Portsmouth, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. on Aug. 12, 2016, on a bench warrant as well as habitual offender and default or breach of bail conditions. She was arrested on Lafayette Road.

Leslie Coombs, 38, of Springbrook Circle in Portsmouth, was arrested at driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Police were sent to Congress Street for a report of a car that was driving in the wrong direction and all over the place, according to a report. It reportedly almost sideswiped another vehicle and driving on a flat tire. The vehicle was stopped near State Street and the driver given field sobriety tests. Coombs was later arrested.

Ballard J. Mattingly, 59, of Rock Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2016, for aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, transporting alcoholic beverages, and default or breach of bail conditions after police were sent to Plains Avenue for a report of an older man inside of a car in a parking lot that didn’t appear to be awake.

Hayden Proulx, 21, of Ridgewood Drive in Kittery, ME, was arrested at 1:47 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2016, on a bench warrant out of Laconia District Court.

Randolf C. Sperry, 34, of Brandersbridge Road in Richmond, VA, was arrested at 3:18 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2016, on a bench warrant. He turned himself in on a warrant.

Theodore Keese, 23, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was issued a summons at 6:44 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2016, urinating/deficating in public after police were sent to Market Basket on Lafayette Road for a report of an indecent exposure incident where a man allegedly exposed himself and urinated on a vehicle in a parking lot. After investigating the incident, Keese was given the summons.
