Portsmouth’s Most Read Posts for 2016
A local fire, a fatal crash on Route 101, a missing teen alert and a manhunt, too.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — It was another busy year at the New Hampshire Patch.com network of news and community websites. Here are the most read stories for Portsmouth this year.
The arrest of political activist Jerry DeLemus was the most read story on the Portsmouth Patch site this year with more than 50,000 people checking out the story and more than 10,000 sharing it on Facebook. Two blog posts by Scott McPherson – one from 2014 about gun rights, and another from 2016, encouraging people to move to New Hampshire – were also popular. A listeria recall and a local firefighter who lost his life in a crash were also checked out by thousands of readers.
