Portsmouth Teen Involved in Hampton Crash Gets License Back

Report: Judge called rounding up of blood alcohol level misleading, inappropriate.

Remi Gross-Santos, who is 18 now but was 17 at the time of the accident, will get his license back after the NH Department of Motor Vehicles rounded up his blood alcohol content to beyond the legal limit, from 0.017, the actual reading, to 0.02.

The accident occurred on June 12, 2014, when Hampton Police arrested Santos after he drove his Volvo into two pedestrians at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and 13th Street. He was later charged second-degree assault and drug charges based on a separate criminal case.
