Police: Speeding stop leads to suspension charge; Rye teen driving her boyfriend to the ER is arrested on drug charges.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - Erik G. Crowley, 49, of Springbrook Circle in Portsmouth, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, and charged with driving after suspension and speed. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Lawrence and Middle streets.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested at 2:33 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Police were sent to a school on Sherburne Road for a report of a teen “tearing everything off the walls” and “destroying things.” He was arrested after police arrived at the scene.

Tyler A. Welch, 18, of Bartlett Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 3:03 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, on two counts of simple assault. He was a walk-in arrest.
Calum Ryan, 18, of McDonough Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, on four counts of simple assault. He was a walk-in arrest.

Emily O’Brien, 19, of Wallis Road in Rye, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. on Jan. 30, 3016, on two counts of possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Kittery Police warned Portsmouth Police about a woman possibly transporting her boyfriend to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for “some type of medical issue,” according to a report. Police and EMTs converged on Borthwick Avenue to meet the woman in the ER parking lot but she reportedly didn’t want to identify herself or the man, at first. Later, a check of O’Brien yielded an active warrant out of Newington; the man was wanted out of Strafford County, and a sheriff there came to pick him up.
