Somersworth Woman Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Man: Log

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Anthony L. Kanehl, 26, of Q Street in Hampton, was arrested at 11:37 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2016, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped at the intersection of Edmond Avenue and Ruby Road. After a field sobriety test, he was arrested.

Jessica Snodgrass, 20, of Main Street in Somersworth, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 12, 2016, for domestic violence-simple assault and a bench warrant. Police were sent to Ledgewood Drive for a report of a woman hitting a relative with a calling alleging she was “beating the piss out of him,” according to dispatch. The woman left the area but was later found in front of Fresh Market and was arrested.

Susan M. Regan, 60, of Dearborn Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. on Nov. 12, 2016, for driving while intoxicated and conduct after an accident. Police were sent to Islington Street for a report of a hit-and-run accident. Witnesses alleged that a silver sedan struck something and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. It then reportedly struck another vehicle and then, pulled into the parking lot of a business. A witness allegedly observed that the woman was “very upset and appears to be drunk,” according to the report. After field sobriety tests, she was arrested.

Kurt E. Barnard, 51, of Wallingford Square in Kittery, ME, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2016, on two counts of driving while intoxicated, possession of controlled drugs in a motor vehicle, and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Police stopped a vehicle at Hanover Street and Vaughn Mall and after field sobriety tests, Barnard was arrested.

Kelly Cody, 22, of Petrel Street in West Roxbury, MA, was arrested at 7:38 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2016, for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Police were sent to Woodbury Avenue for a report of a drug smell coming from a room. Cody was later arrested and given a no trespass notice.

Scott Pelletier, 45, of Main Street in Farmington, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2016, on a bench warrant. Police ran a plate on Woodbury Avenue and it came back with an active bench warrant. Officers made contact with the owner of the car at a hotel and made the arrest.

Brian R. Dunnigan, 57, of Blanchard Street in Wells, ME, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 9, 2016, for disorderly conduct, simple assault, criminal threatening, and resisting arrest or detention. Police were sent to Woodbury Avenue and Cottage Street for a report of a vehicle hitting a curb and getting a flat tire. Dispatch reported that the man was the same person reported as looking intoxicated on State Street, according to the report. Police arrived and later, Dunnigan was arrested.
