Veterans Count Screens '13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi' Oct. 19
U.S. Army Ranger Kris Paronto and Col. Danny McKnight will be in attendance at the event in Portsmouth to raise money for the org.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Veterans Count, a program of Easters Seals NH, welcomes veterans Kris “Tanto” Paronto of the Battle of Benghazi and Retired Colonel Danny McKnight of Black Hawk Down to the Music Hall at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, for a special screening of "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi," according to a press statement. On that night, Paronto was a key player in the CIA Annex Security Team that responded to the attack, and helped save more than 20 American lives while fighting terrorists for 13 hours.
The film’s story is recounted from the famous novel, "13 Hours," written by New York Times bestselling author Mitchell Zuckoff and co-written by members of the Annex Security Team (including Paronto).
The event will be emceed by Josh McElveen, Political Director, news anchor and reporter for WMUR-TV. Copies of the novel will be available to purchase that evening, and all proceeds will go directly to Veterans Count — an Easter Seals program dedicated to providing emergency assistance and financial support for service members and Veterans of all eras across the state of New Hampshire.

All proceeds for the evening will to the Seacoast Chapter of Veterans Count, a program of Easter Seals NH that provides emergency assistance and services to military members and their families. Through comprehensive, emergency aid and timely financial assistance and services, Veterans Count helps these individuals thrive in their communities.
