Today's riddle: Why do some employees hide as soon as they arrive at work? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Gov. Ayotte ordered Rye Beach parking restored after complaints (seacoastonline.com) — Free beach parking along Route 1A in Rye has been largely restored after Gov. Kelly Ayotte ordered state transportation officials to remove most new no-parking signs that had eliminated about 90 spaces. The move follows strong local backlash and ongoing safety concerns, and town and state leaders will revisit long-term parking, speed limits, and enforcement along Ocean Boulevard after this summer.

• Phillips Exeter Academy's Dana Mussulman wins NH high school Decathlon (fosters.com) — Rye resident and Phillips Exeter Academy graduate Dana Mussulman has been crowned New Hampshire’s high school decathlon champion after a dominant performance in Nashua, scoring 6,222 points. His win caps years of training, including giving up baseball to focus on track, and he’ll continue competing in college at Colby, giving Rye a new state-level athletic standout to cheer for.

• Seacoast home prices stay hot as sales increase (wmur.com) — Home prices across the Seacoast keep climbing, with June’s median sale hitting $900,000 and a Rye property closing for $8.57 million, among the priciest ever in Rockingham County. For Rye residents, the hot market underscores both rising property values and mounting challenges for buyers as the region remains a strong seller’s market.
