Tell us a little about yourself and your background.

Mario and Rose have been married and working together for 35 years. Kim began her career as our apprenctice and has been at the salon for 20 years.  Mario was born in Italy, loves to garden, travel and spend time with Mabella, his cocker spaniel. Rose enjoys cooking and party planning. Kim loves to exercise, shop and decorate and take care of her two cats, Brandy and Mia.

In a nutshell, describe your business.

We feature our haircuts, color and highlights, perming and straightening.  We also offer manicures and eyebrow waxing.  We sell Matrix and Paul Mitchell products, as well as Bed Head and OPI.  We love long hair, bridal and special occasion looks. We create gift baskets and offer gift certificates in any amount.

What is your favorite part about what you do?

We enjoy making a difference in peoples lives. Our clients are like family to us.  We've been part of the lives of three generations of clients. We styled for their proms and weddings and retirement parties.

What's the most important thing you'd like your customers to know about your business?

February is our 35th year anniversary of the business. Our vision for the future is to help each client to feel great with their style. We will continue to contribute to our community as we did last year with a successful can food drive for the food pantry and bake sale for the Salem Animal Rescue League.
