Former Bedford Teacher Indicted On Sexual Assault Charges In Plaistow
Dover man indicted after crash that killed bicyclist; woman faces drug DWI, child endangerment charges; man indicted on cop threat case.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.
Juan L. Rodriguez, 27, of Rockingham Village in Seabrook on a felony second-degree assault-domestic violence-strangulation and simple assault charges. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner and pushing her against a wall on Dec. 10, 2021, in Seabrook.
David Russell, 63, of Reed Drive in Bedford on two felonious sexual assault and three simple assault charges. He was accused of touching a child’s buttocks in a sexual and non-sexual manner several times between Nov. 16, and Nov. 18, 2021, in Plaistow. Russell was a former math teacher at Timberlane Regional High School.

Amanda Sargent, 40, of Main Street in Plaistow on a possession of fentanyl charge on Aug. 29, 2021, in Salem.
Christopher A. Savasta, 37, with a last known address of Proulx Street in Brooklyn, Connecticut, on fraudulent uses of a credit card and receiving stolen property charges, both felonies. He was accused of retaining credit and bank cards owned by another person and using them to obtain property on Nov. 20, 2021, in Exeter.

Scott Norman Schmid, 36, of Horseshoe Pond Lane in Concord on a felony unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle or rented property charge. Between Sept. 6, and Nov. 3, 2021, at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Londonderry, he refused or neglected to return a 2021 Toyota Camry.
Jennifer Lee Smith, 34, of Laraway Court in Derry on a possession of crack cocaine-subsequent charge on Nov. 4, 2020, in Salem. Previously, according to the indictment, she has been convicted before.
Ashley Sokolowski, 36, a homeless woman now located in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing items from Walmart in Plaistow on Sept. 28, 2019. Twice before, she has been convicted on theft charges.
David Robert Soucy, 38, of Main Street in Plaistow on a felony criminal threatening-deadly weapon charge. He was accused of holding a knife to another person and saying, “I can f--- you up, I can f--- you up bad,” or words to that effect on Dec. 11, 2021, in Plaistow.
Stephanie Marie Souther, 36, of Rabbit Road in Salisbury, Massachusetts, on a felony possession of a controlled drug charge, a tramadol and fentanyl mix, and driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child charges. She was accused of driving while intoxicated on Lafayette Road in North Hampton with a child inside the vehicle on Aug. 28, 2021.
Jason Spinelli, 36, of Tsinneto Road in Derry on extended term of imprisonment-simple assault and extended term of imprisonment-criminal threatening charges. He was accused of assaulting a police sergeant and threatening to kill a police officer on Dec. 3, 2021, in Derry.
Craig W. Sprowl, 45, of Central Avenue in Dover on negligent homicide and conduct after an accident charges, both felonies. He was accused of nodding off at the wheel on Route 125 in Kingston and striking and killing Donna Briggs on her bicycle on Sept. 21, 2021. Steven Joseph Stefanelli Jr., 26, of Belgrade Street in Manchester on accomplice to robbery and two robbery charges, all felonies. He was accused of acting in concert with Ryan T. Watts, Christopher Matthew Lewin, Brandon Watts, and-or Devaughn Johnson to use physical force to steal a shotgun, sword, Play Station, and guitar on Nov. 5, 2020, in Derry.
