Lawrence Teen Busted with Shotgun, Drugs
Salem Police arrested Alex Garcia on numerous charges.

A Massachusetts man is being held on cash bail after being arrested on Friday night on numerous charges, according to Salem Police.
Alex Garcia, 19, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested around 1 a.m. on Sept. 5, and charged with felony receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm without a serial number, defaced or altered, possession of a controlled drug (marijuana), transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, and transporting alcohol by a minor.
According to a report, an officer pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon speaking with the driver, later identified as Garcia, the officer allegedly saw “in plain view,” a bottle of alcohol and shotgun shells “strewn around the vehicle.” A Rossi shotgun that has been sawed off with the serial numbers defaced, was also allegedly found. The gun was later linked to a stolen weapon at a recent burglary in Manchester, where other firearms were stolen.
