NHSP: Illegal Dominican Tried to Get NH License
Onix Abreau of Lawrence was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after being arrested in Salem today.

New Hampshire State Police arrested another person currently living in Massachusetts who allegedly was attempting to get a New Hampshire driver’s license by using fraudulent documents, according to a report.
Onix Abreau, 40, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested at around 10 a.m. on June 15, 2015.

According to report, troopers were called to the NH DMV in Salem for a report of a suspicious male trying to obtain a license. The man reportedly identified himself as Jose Rojas Valentine of Londonderry. Troopers made contact with the subject and discovered that the documents he had provided to obtain a New Hampshire driver license were fraudulent, according to Sgt. Andrew Player of Troop G.
“With the cooperation of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, officers were able to identify the subject as Onix Abreau, age 40, of Lawrence, MA,” Player stated. “Furthermore, it was learned that Abreau was a citizen of the Dominican Republic, who had illegally entered the United States.”

Abreau was turned over to US ICE at the DMV.
