Nostalgia Tour Planned for Salem High School Alumni
Former students invited to come back on Sept. 27.

Salem School alumni are invited to take a Nostalgia Tour of Salem High School at this year’s Homecoming.
The school will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 for self-guided tours. A photo opportunity will take place on the Seifert Auditorium stage at noon. All interested alumni are welcome to participate in the group photo.
The event – organized by the District’s Community Support and Engagement Committee and the Salem School Board ñ offers alumni the opportunity to walk the high school one last time prior to the upcoming renovation project. It’s sure to bring back memories.

After almost 50 years, the school will undergo a significant transformation. The renovation’s first phase will begin in April 2015, which will move the school’s main offices to the school’s Geremonty Drive side. Then, during the summer weeks, the Davis Gym and the school cafeteria will be substantially updated, and the school’s Seifert Auditorium will be demolished.
Please join us for one last nostalgic look before our high school is brought into the twenty-first century.
