Salem Police: Teen arrested for domestic violence and Roxbury woman, Manchester man arrested on shoplifting charges.

SALEM, NH - Amy Toman, 35, of East Madison Road, Madison, ME, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2016, for theft by unauthorized taking (less than $1,000). Police were sent to the La Quinta on Keewaydin Drive for a report of a housekeeper reporting $300 stolen from her purse with the suspect fleeing into the woods. Police set up a perimeter and checked rooms. A K-9 unit tracked from the back of the hotel to a parking lot. The suspect was located at the Stewart Medical Group. Toman was transported to Parkland Medical Center and refused bail.

Raul Martinez-Javier, 26, of Washington Street in Roslindale, MA, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. on Jan. 8, 2016, for domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to Kimball Avenue for a report of a woman who was assaulted by another family member. Police received the tip from another man and went to the home to investigate. Martinez-Javier was later arrested.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested at 12:28 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2016, for domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to Small Brook Lane for a woman who called 911 requesting police for a disturbance between two teens. The boy was then arrested.
Derek E. Gawrys, 32, of Vinton Street in Manchester, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2016, for willful concealment, theft detective device remover, and breach of bail. Police were sent to Kmart on South Broadway for a report of a shoplifting in custody that allegedly cut off security tags with a pocketknife. Gawrys was later arrested and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail.

Thomas Castro, 33, of East Haverhill Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 9:04 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2016, for willful concealment after an incident at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.
Daniel F. Carrier, 50, of Old Gage Hill Road in Pelham, was taken in to protective custody at 9:37 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2016, after a pickup truck caught on fire on Lowell Road.
Police were sent to the La Quinta on Keewaydin Drive for a 38-year-old woman who overdosed. She was transported to Holy Family Hopsital.
Cynthia Scott, 41, of Weaver Way in Roxbury, MA, was arrested at 1:49 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2016, for willful concealment, theft detective device remove, and criminal threatening after a shoplifting incident at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park. She was held on $2,500 cash bail.
Johnny Rosario, 51, of Groton Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 1:53 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2016, for driving after revocation or suspension, reckless operation, and disobeying an officer. He was arrested on a warrant.
Inez T. Goulet, 32, of Kimball Street in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2016, on a bench warrant after police were sent to Bob’s Discount Furniture on Cuff Crossing Road for a report of a possible fraud case involving a family member buying furniture after using her personal information. Goulet, however, had an active warrant and was arrested.
