Pelham Man Dies After Crash with Salem Driver

New Hampshire State Police crash investigators looking for witnesses to accident on Mammoth Road in Pelham yesterday.

On Tuesday, Aug. 26, at approximately 8:12 p.m. the Pelham Police Department was notified of a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan on Mammoth Road at the Tenny Road intersection.

Due to the seriousness of the crash the NH State Police C.A.R. Unit was requested and assumed the investigation.

The initial investigation revealed that a 2005 Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle was traveling northbound on Mammoth Road approaching the Tenny Road intersection. Simultaneously a 2013 Honda Fit that had been traveling west on Tenny Road started to make a left hand turn onto Mammoth Road in a southbound direction and the two vehicles collided.

As a result of this collision Nicholas Limberopoulos, the motorcycle operator, 24 of Pelham, received life threatening injuries and was transported to the Lowell General Hospital where he later died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Kayla Walsh, the operator of the sedan, 22 of Salem, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment.

Walsh had one passenger with her at the time of the collision who was identified as, Nyria Combs, 21 of Pelham. Combs did not sustain injury and was not transported.

The crash investigation is being handled by the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R. Unit). Assisting on scene were members of the Pelham Police Department and Pelham Fire & Rescue.
