Salem Police: Teen arrested for ciggie possession, overdose reported on Shannon Road, and Mass. man arrested on drug charges.

SALEM, NH - A 17-year-old was arrested for possession/use of tobacco products by a minor at 12:37 p.m. on March 4, 2016, after police were sent to a threat call on School Street. The caller alleged that she had been threatened but the subjects had left the scene. They were stopped at Millville and School, according to police.

Angel Renta, 25, of Egmont Street in Brookline, MA, was arrested at 7 p.m. on March 4, 2016, and charged with possession of a controlled drug (less than one ounce) and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana, hashish, less than 5 grams). He was arrested at Rockingham Park on Rockingham Park Boulevard.

Salem Fire and Rescue teams along with police were sent to an overdose on Shannon Road at 8:46 p.m. on March 4, 2016, where a 25-year-old man locked himself in a bathroom and was not responding. He was transported to Parkland Medical Center.

William Hurd, 27, of 5th Avenue in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 5:23 a.m. on March 5, 2016, on a simple assault charge. Police were sent to the Red Roof Inn on Red Roof Lane for a report of woman stating that her daughter’s boyfriend assaulted her. He allegedly climbed on top of her while she was in bed, she slapped him in the face, and he left, according to a report. Officers spoke with Hurd and he was arrested, refused bail, and was sent to Rockingham County House of Corrections.

Paul F. Perry Jr., 47, of South Policy Street in Salem, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on March 5, 2016, was arrested for reckless operation and unauthorized use. Police were sent to Muse’s Trailer Park on South Policy Street for a report of woman claiming that her adult son took her car again. Another caller stated that she was almost struck by the vehicle near the Fisk School, according to the report. The vehicle and driver were reportedly found on Exit 2 and Perry was arrested. The woman came to pick up her vehicle but it had problems and was disabled on I-93 near Exit 3. Perry was sent to Parkland Medical Center for evaluation, according to police.

Manoucher Aghkahn-Vaziri, 79, of Fountain Drive in North Andover, MA, was arrested at noon on March 5, 2016, for willful concealment. He was arrested at the Market Basket on South Broadway.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested at 2:37 p.m. on March 6, 2016, for willful concealment at JC Penny on Rockingham Park Boulevard.

Darrian M. Bayliss, 19, of Camelot Shores Drive in Farmington, was arrested on a bench warrant at 5:40 p.m. on March 6, 2016, at the Salem Police Department.

Suellen M. Aquino-Castaneda, 51, of Bypass 28 of Derry, was arrested on a warrant out of the Derry Police Department at 7:08 a.m. on March 7, 2016. She was arrested at the Walmart on North Broadway after police were sent to a suspicious vehicle call.
