Salem Man Arrested On Domestic Violence, Simple Assault, Obstruction Charges: Police Log

Plus: Methuen woman accused of assault; several teens arrested on shoplifting charges; man faces stalking, witness tampering charges.

SALEM, NH — Tyler J. Carlson, 39, of Summer Street in Methuen, Massachusetts, was arrested at 6:09 p.m. on June 11, 2023, on a domestic violence-simple assault charge. Police were sent to Lowell Road for a report by a woman that another woman was attacking her and a man. Carlson was arrested later and released on personal recognizance to a sober party, police said.

Kimberly Marie Veno, 35, of Manchester was arrested at 10:54 a.m. on June 11 on two possession of a controlled drug and two possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges as well as a warrant from an outside agency. Police were at the rest area on Interstate 93 for a suspicious vehicle. Veno was arrested later. She refused bail and was taken to the Rockingham County Jail. Later, she was taken to Exeter Hospital. Veno was released later on $500 cash bail.

Jose Vidal Rodriguez Perez, 58, of Lawrence Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. on June 11 on a driving under the influence charge. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at Salem Hyundai on South Broadway Street.

An overdose was reported on Elizabeth Lane at 11:18 p.m. on June 11.

Mitchell J. Farah, 31, of Cluff Crossing Road in Salem was arrested at 8:04 p.m. on May 30 on domestic violence-simple assault, domestic violence-obstructing report of crime or injury, and domestic violence-simple assault charges. Police were sent to a domestic incident with a woman claiming she was pushed and thrown onto a bed. Farah was arrested later and released on personal recognizance.

Francis M. Lemieux, 59, of North Main Street in Salem was arrested at 5:26 p.m. on May 30 on witness tampering and stalking charges. Lemieux was arrested on a warrant.

Brian Patrick Fagan, 38, of 9th Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested on a bench warrant at 5:06 p.m. on May 30 as well as theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000, bail jumping, and breach of bail charges. He was arrested on a warrant and released on personal recognizance.

Ashley Ann Sokolowski, 37, of Bay State Road in Lawrence, MA, was arrested on 9:37 a.m. on May 30 on felony willful concealment and criminal mischief charges as well as a warrant from an outside agency. Salem police picked her up at the Suffolk County Jail, she refused bail, and was taken to the Rockingham County Jail.

Jose Ariel Guichardo, 34, of Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen, MA, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. on May 26 on a willful concealment charge. He was arrested after an incident at Walmart on North Broadway Street.

Police were sent to Walmart on North Broadway Street at 6:48 p.m. on May 26 for a shoplifting incident. A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested on a willful concealment charge each.

Two 14-year-olds were arrested on a willful concealment charge each after police were sent to Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park at 6:45 p.m. on May 26.

Anjelika Kaitlin Cray, 31, of Scribner Boulevard in Lewiston, Maine, was arrested at 5:39 p.m. on May 22 on driving after revocation or suspension and disobeying an officer charges. She was arrested after police at the Interstate 93 rest area checked on a woman inside of a car.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested on a willful concealment charge at 4:36 p.m. on May 22 after an incident at Walmart on North Broadway.

Derek Edward Bell, 36, of Glen Avenue in Methuen, MA, was arrested at 1:38 p.m. on May 22 on willful concealment and driving after revocation or suspension charges. He was arrested on a warrant and released on personal recognizance.
