Salem Police Log: Hip-Hop Actor Arrested on Warrants

Plus, man arrested for allegedly pushing his ex, Lowell man arrested on drug charge and Lawrence man arrested on warrants.

Austin J. Laliberty, 19, of North Policy Street in Salem, was arrested at 5:43 a.m. on Oct. 30, for simple assault-domestic violence. Police were called to North Policy Street for a woman who alleged that her ex-boyfriend “pushed her and put his hands on her.” Laliberty was later arrested, refused bail, and was held.

Jose L. Homs, 22, of Butterfield Street in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 1:01 p.m. on Oct. 30, was arrested for transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. He was arrested on Stiles Road and later, released on a summons.

Sorrieu A. Stevquoah, 25, pictured, of Canton Street in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. on Oct. 30, on two bench warrants, a warrant from an outside agency, resisting arrested or detention, and false report to law enforcement. He was arrested at Canobie Lake Park on North Policy Street. He was held without bail. Back in May 2014, Stevquoah was arrested in Concord for allegedly beating his girlfriend with a belt and threatening to kill her with a knife. According to The Lowell Sun, Stevquoah was arrested in 2013 in Lowell on a domestic assault and battery charge. He has pictures posted on a number of “talent” sites, offering services as an actor and voiceover artist. Stevquoah is also an aspiring hip-hop performer, recording under the moniker of “Creamie Shakes.”

Kristopher Barnes, 27, of Holton Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. on Oct. 31, for receiving stolen property (more than $1,501). He was arrested on a warrant at the police station and released on $1,000 cash bail.

Keith G. Ellison, 23, of Meaders Lane in Salisbury, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. on Nov. 1, for prowling and criminal trespass. Police were sent to Muse’s Trailer Park on South Policy Street where a woman was alleging that her ex-boyfriend was intoxicated, threw her car keys into the woods, and then fled the area. Officers and a sergeant were sent to the scene, set up a perimeter, and called in a K-9 unit to track the man’s scent. An officer later caught up with Ellison on Pleasant and he was arrested.

Justin A. Brown, 18, of Cypress Street in Salem, along with two 17-year-old girls, were all charged at 1:20 a.m. on Nov. 1, for unlawful possession of alcohol on Main Street at the Heritage Museum. They were all released to their parents.

Deborah A. Goodhue, 50, of Shore Drive in Salem, was arrested at 8:34 a.m. on Nov. 1, for forgery. She was arrested on a warrant at the police station.
