LOG: Loudon Couple Steal Machete, Shakira CD, Baby Items from Walmart
Plus, teens receive summonses on alcohol charges and Joseph Petricca has been arrested again.
Mario Coppola, 44, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:01 a.m. on July 10, 2014, on a violation of probation or parole charge. Officers were called to South Main and Water streets for an incident involving three men, one who fled the area. A check of one of the men, Coppola, revealed a 72-hour detainer request for parole/probation violation and he was taken into custody and held.

Donald E. Salvas, 54, of Pierce Street, was arrested at 4:49 a.m. on July 10, 2014, on a simple assault charge. Officers were sent to Pierce Street for a domestic between a father and son. The officers ran into the son first outside who alleged that his father, Salvas, had smacked him. The son reportedly told officers that his father was “drinking whiskey all night and became heavily intoxicated.” The son became “concerned” for his father’s welfare and took the bottle of whiskey away. Salvas allegedly began screaming, so the son gave him back the bottle and left. When the son returned, Salvas was allegedly still screaming. The son attempted to take the whiskey away again when Salvas allegedly “grabbed his face, lifted it up, and uppercut him in the right side of his face,” according to the report. Police allege that Salvas was “highly intoxicated” and couldn’t walk straight. Salvas reportedly said his son was “running his mouth” and the two were arguing. He allegedly denied hitting his son. He was arrested and arraigned on Aug. 4.

Courtney B. Barrett, 42, of Canton Circle in Concord, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. on July 10, 2014, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from July 10, for nonappearance in court on a simple assault charge, $1,000 cash bail. Barrett was held and arraigned on July 11.
Caleb M. Seymour, 18, of Dartmouth Street in Concord, received a summons 4:15 a.m. on July 11, 2014, for allowing improper person to operate and unlawful possession of alcohol. Grace E. Mulleavey, 18, of Broadway in Concord, was summoned for unlawful possession of alcohol. An officer and sergeant were at a suspicious vehicle call on Langdon Street with three occupants. One, the driver, was reportedly practicing to drive a standard but didn’t have a license. Police reported smelling “the odor of flavored cigars coming from the vehicle” and allegedly found a bottle of beer that had condensation on it. Mulleavey allegedly showed signs of impairment but refused a portable breath test. According to the report, she took responsibility for the beer being in the car and was given a summons. Mulleavey’s mother picked her up; Seymour were unable to reach their parents and were given rides home.

Matthew Perry, 31, of Summer Street in Penacook, was arrested at 11:11 a.m. on July 11, 2014, on a bench warrant and receiving stolen property charge from April 25, 2012, at the A Jewelers Workshop on South Main Street. Perry turned himself in to police. The bench warrant was out of Concord District Court for nonpayment of attorney fees, $269.50, cash to settle, from April 26, 2013. Perry was arraigned on Aug. 18.
Mark P. Lesniak, 39, of North Spring Street in Concord, received a summons at 11:38 a.m. on July 11, 2014, on a consumption of liquor on private property charge. Officers were sent to The Friendly Kitchen for a report of a man drinking by the gazebo. One officer alleged that Lesniak picked up a plastic up with amber liquid in it and dumped it on the ground after reportedly being told not to touch the cup. The cup, a “Chill Zone” cup from Cumberland Farms smelled like beer so Lesniak was given a summons. A director at the kitchen filed no trespass paperwork with police, as well.
Amanda Lynn Kay, 31, of Lancaster Road in Lancaster, was arrested at 12:02 p.m. on July 11, 2014, and charged with a felony forgery charge, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, three counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and a theft by deception charge. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Granite State Credit Union on Sheep Davis Road and Bank of America on Storrs Street. Kay turned herself in to police and was arraigned on Aug. 18.
Chad E. Owen, 23, of Staniels Road in Loudon, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. on July 11, 2014, on a theft and receiving stolen property charges at Walmart on Loudon Road. Addie Philbrick, also of Loudon, was also arrested. Officers were sent to Walmart for a past tense shoplifting incident involving a couple who had reportedly stolen items previously in the day and had returned to the store. The man, Owen, was reportedly pushing a baby stroller and had allegedly hid items in the stroller. He then went into the men’s room. A loss prevention employee followed him in and heard “the distinct sound of packages being tampered with” and then, a toilet flushing. Philbrick waited outside, according to police. They then left the store without paying for the items, including a machete, headphones, baby teething tablets, a WWE wrestling game guide book, Shakira CD, and other items that were allegedly in Philbrick’s backpack. Outside the store, both started screaming at each other, and were taking into custody. Both were arraigned on Aug. 18. Police noted in the report that follow-up charges would be made based on the earlier theft allegations.
Sarah E. Breau, 27, of Elm Street in Penacook, received a summons at 4:25 p.m. on July 11, 2014, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge at Walmart. The store alleged that Breau put on shoes and didn’t pay for them. She was arraigned on Aug. 25.
Sorrieu Aalvin Stevquoah, 24, of Bog Road in Concord, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on July 11, 2014, and charged with second-degree assault, a felony, simple assault, and default or breach of bail conditions. The charges relate to a domestic incident at an apartment on Bog Road on May 4. He was arrested and arraigned on Aug. 18.
