Sheriffs: Man Failed to Appear on Gun, Drug Charges

Plus, MA man arrested on drug possession charges, habitual offender from Maine arrested, homeless woman charged for missing burglary court.

The following people were arrested recently by Rockingham County’s Sheriffs:

Betsy L. Ross, 43, of Hillside Drive in Dover, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2015, on a judge’s order to arrest for failure to appear on heroin possession and theft charges.

Robert D. Calnan, 55, of Liberty Street in Haverhill, was arrested on Nov. 5, for criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.).

Brandon S. Hersey, 20, of Clifton Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested on Nov. 5, for possession of controlled drugs-act prohibited and possession of drugs in motor vehicle.

Charleyanne L. Martin, 26, a homeless woman, was arrested on Nov. 4, for judge’s order to arrest on a failure to appear on a burglary charge.

Brian K. Smith, 51, of Oak Terrace in Kittery, ME, was arrested on Nov. 4, for judge’s order to arrest on a bail jumping charge on an original charge of operating while a habitual offender and failure to appear on a final pre-trial conference on a habitual offender charge.

Miguel A. Ruiz, 33, of Durham Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested on Nov. 4, on a bench warrant for failure to appear struct conference for sale of cocaine, judge’s order to arrest for sale of controlled drug, and a bench warrant on two counts of sale of cocaine.

Andrew W. Smith, 28, of Whittier Drive in Seabrook, was arrested on a judge’s order on Nov. 4, for ofc cost cont-legal fees.

Daniel L. Marchant, 34, of Charleston Avenue in Londonderry, was arrested on Nov. 3, on a judge’s order to arrest on failure to appear at the arraignment of a fentanyl possession charge and failure to appear at a possession of a firearm without a license charge.

Eric J. Porter Jr., 27, of Depot Road in Epping, was arrested on Nov. 3, for a violation of probation charge.

Stephen C. Hamel Jr., 33, of Fairway Drive in Derry, was arrested on Nov. 3, for failure to appear in drug court on a possession of alprazolam and failure to appear at drug court on a possession for lisdexamfetamine.
