Teens, Others Arrested on Shoplifting Charges: Log
Salem Police: Indiana man arrested for DUI, boy arrested for throwing things around the house, and Hampstead teen arrested on drug charge.

SALEM, NH - Travis C. Bruce, 34, of Central Street in Manchester, was arrested at 10:36 a.m. on Jan. 27, 2016, for theft by deception (two prior thefts). Also arrested was Amy E. Bruce, 26, of Lowell Street in Manchester, for theft by deception (less than $1,000), driving after revocation or suspension, and breach of bail. Police were sent to Lowe’s South Broadway for a report of a man allegedly attempting to refund an item that was stolen from the store. A detective stopped a vehicle near Babies R Us and arrested both subjects. They were both held.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested at 6:21 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2016, for criminal mischief and resisting arrest or detention. Police were sent to Main Street for a report of a teen “throwing things around the house” because he was mad at his mom. Police arrived and arrested the boy.

Jon T. Babineau, 76, of Tiffany Road in Salem, was arrested at 6:24 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2016, for conduct after an accident. He turned himself in on a warrant.

Pedro J. Gonzalez, 23, of West 6th Street in Lowell, MA, at 6:39 pm. on Jan. 27, 2016, for willful concealment. Also arrested was Alexis Santiago, 20, of Fulton Street in Lowell, MA, for willful concealment. They were both arrested at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.
Phillip A. Pilla, 18, of Marilyn Park Drive in Hampstead, was arrested at 10:18 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2016, for transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. A caller reported that there was a silver Saab on Main Street “all over the roadway, slowing down and speeding up. An officer stopped the vehicle on the Veterans Memorial Parkway and he was arrested.
Crystal Lemay, 22, of Country Way in Goffstown, was arrested at 7:53 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2016, for forgery. She turned herself in on an arrest.
Adam T. Miller, 25, of Brook Street in Dracut, MA, was arrested at 5:14 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, for possession of a controlled drug. Police were sent to the Irving gas station on North Broadway after an employee alleged that there was an intoxicated man, pumping gas, into a Toyota. The officer stopped the vehicle at Dunkin’ Donuts and after a consent search, arrested the man.
Timothy Millis, 30, of Nichols Street in Kingston, was arrested at 7:49 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, on a bench warrant. He turned himself in to police.
Scott R. Tokanel, 30, of Griffin Street in Salem, was arrested at 11:41 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, for domestic violence-simple assault and breach of bail. Police were sent to Griffin Street for a report of a woman who was beaten, according to an arrest report. Salem Fire and Rescue teams were also sent to the scene while a 12-hour hold was put on the man. Police found the man on Corliss Street in his vehicle.
Hector J. Martinez, 37, of Carleton Street in Methuen, MA, was arrested at 1:19 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2016, for robbery after police were sent to Best Buy on South Broadway for a report of a shoplifter.
Janet A. Parker, 61, of Elizabeth Drive in Berwick, ME, was arrested at 7:48 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2016, for theft of services (two prior convictions). She was charged after being released from the Valley Street Jail in Manchester.
Jonathan B. Russell, 29, of Williams Street in Salem, was arrested at 11:11 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2016, for possession of controlled drug (heroin, crack, less than 1 gram) and transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on South Broadway after Mass. State Police received several calls regarding a Toyota Tundra “all over the road.” The vehicle was pulled over at Popeye’s and the subject was arrested.
Anthony Witczak, 52, of Hohman in Hammond, IN, was arrested at 10 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2016, for DUI-impairment, driving after revocation or suspension, conduct after an accident, and open container. Also arrested was Rick L. Ortega, 51, of Buffalo Street in Chicago, IL, on a warrant. They were arrested after an accident on Pelham Road.
Karen M. Poulin, 53, of Rolling Hill Road in Hampstead, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2016, for willful concealment after an alleged shoplifting incident at JC Penny on Rockingham Park Boulevards.
Two 15-year-old girls were arrested at 3:19 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2016, at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.
Kristyna N. Murphy, 28, of Hollis Street in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2016, for willful concealment after an alleged shoplifting incident at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.
