1. A South Jersey resident and "relationship coach" was sentenced to prison for participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol. Patrick Stedman entered the chambers of then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and roamed the halls and offices in the Speaker's Suite while inside the building, documents show. (Read more on Patch.)

2. Police are investigating after a 69-year-old man was found lying injured next to some railroad tracks in Somerset County. A passerby noticed the man lying next to the rails and called first responders, who began medical treatment and then took him to the hospital in an ambulance. (Read more on Patch.)
3. A man has died after colliding with a pick-up truck while riding an electric bike on Interstate 78, officials said. The crash happened Monday morning just before 6:10 a.m. and closed all lanes of the highway for several hours. (Read more on Patch.)

4. Police received four phone calls Monday claiming bombs had been planted on the Seaside Heights boardwalk and that there were people armed with guns, said officials. The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the calls as possible "swatting" incidents. (Read more on Patch.)
