Severe Thunderstorm Warning In Effect For 2 NJ Counties: NWS
Radar indicated the storm near Blairstown could produce 60 mph winds, torrential rain and quarter-sized hail, forecasters said.

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service on Saturday issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Sussex and Warren counties until 2:15 p.m.
According to the NWS, at 1:40 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Blairstown moving northeast at 25 mph. Radar indicated the storm could produce 60 mph winds and quarter-sized hail.
Locations affected included Newton, Hopatcong, Blairstown, Mount Arlington, Stanhope, Andover, Greendell, Five Points, Allamuchy-Panther Valley and Lake Mohawk.

The warning area also included Interstate 80 between mile markers 10 and 18, and near mile marker 21.
"Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm," the NWS said in its alert. "Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways."
