2. Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 28-year-old woman suspected in the shooting of a pastor from East Orange, authorities said. One of multiple bullets fired into Timothy Huff’s home struck him in his chest, and he is still in critical condition. (Read more on Patch.)

3. Nine people were sent to local hospitals after they were exposed to a chemical brought into a North Jersey high school on Monday, a report said. Investigators found the student had brought thallium, historically used to kill rodents, into the building. (Read more on Patch.)

4. Another protest is planned against wind farms off the Jersey Shore, and four companies submitted proposals to build wind turbines in the state in August. 5. A registered sex offender has been sentenced to more time in prison for sharing multiple images of child sex abuse while being on supervised, federal officials said.
