1. South Jersey native Joe Flacco is interested in re-uniting with the New York Jets in the wake of Aaron Rodgers's season-ending injury, an ESPN report said. The Super Bowl-winning quarterback signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021. But midway through the following season, the Birds traded him back to the Jets after Gang Green signal-caller Zach Wilson injured his knee. (Read more on Patch.)

2. Police charged a middle school student, after a bomb threat prompted school officials to evacuate the building Tuesday. A school resource officer was advised that a note in one of the bathrooms said there was a bomb in the building, according to the Gloucester Township Police Department. (Read more on Patch.)
3. As offshore wind developer Orsted prepared to begin work Tuesday for the onshore portion of the Ocean Wind 1 project, they were met with protestors in an attempt to further delay the project. Several people were lying in the street and police took them into custody, a spokesperson said. (Read more on Patch.)

4. Law enforcement officials are still searching for the person responsible in a 2021 sexual assault of a female jogger at Big Brook Park in Monmouth County. Officials released a sketch of the suspect, and a video. (Read more on Patch.)
5. Officials are looking for the driver accused of hitting a 17-year-old cyclist on Wednesday, then fleeing the scene. The teen was later pronounced dead at a North Jersey hospital. (Read more on Patch.)
