• First Avenue Playhouse presents "I, Suspect" (newjerseystage.com) — Atlantic Highlands' own First Avenue Playhouse is staging the comic mystery "I, Suspect" on weekends from September 11–26, giving locals an easy night out right in town. The show follows two detectives, a meddling narrator, and suspects who all insist they're guilty, with evening and matinee performances at the First Avenue venue.
   

• Middletown Township Police Dept. blotter • August 2026 (themonmouthjournaleastern.com) — Residents from Atlantic Highlands appear in Middletown's August police blotter, with two locals among 84 people arrested on charges ranging from shoplifting to DUI. The report also highlights how busy Middletown officers were, responding to thousands of calls, crashes, and emergencies throughout the month.
   

• RWJBarnabas Health Opens New Food Farmacy at Monmouth Medical Center (newswise.com) — Atlantic Highlands residents now have another nearby resource for healthy food, as RWJBarnabas Health and Monmouth Medical Center opened a Food Farmacy in Long Branch to provide free nutritious groceries and dietitian counseling to eligible patients. Local and state leaders, including Atlantic Highlands' mayor, say the program aims to fight food insecurity and chronic disease across Monmouth County.
