We will break down simple daily habits, nutrition tips, and practical eye breaks that can make a world of difference in how you see the world. MANAHAWKIN - Southern Ocean Medical Center is hosting a FREE lecture on Understanding Hypertension and Cholesterol on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 1 - 1:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 333 North Main Street, Manahawkin. Join us to learn more about what high blood pressure and cholesterol are, as well as lifestyle changes you can make to reduce your risk! FREE Wellness Screenings will be offered as well between 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Screenings will include Blood Pressure, Pulse, BMI, Glucose, Cholesterol and Stroke Risk Assessment. A nurse will be on hand to answer questions. No registration required.

BAYVILLE - SOUTHERN OCEAN MEDICAL CENTER is hosting a FREE WELLNESS SCREENINGS on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8:30 - 11 a.m. at the Faith Community United Methodist Church, 526 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville. Screenings will include Blood Pressure, Pulse, BMI, Glucose, Cholesterol, and Stroke Risk Assessment. *Fasting is not required.
