Convicted Sex Offender From Surf City Arrested For Trying to Lure A Child

An Ocean County grand jury recently indicted a Surf City man alreadybregistered as a Tier 2 sex offender with trying to lure another child, according to an article in app.com.

Kenneth J. Walker, 66, North 6th Street, was indicted for attempted sexual assault, attempted criminal sexual contact, attempting endangering the welfare of a child and attempted luring, the indictment states.

The indictment states that Walker used the Internet to set up a meeting with a minor, with the intent to commit a sexual assault against the minor. He was arrested after authorities received a tip about his activities.
