Fake Bomb Threat Called In At Southern Regional High School: Police

The source of the threat is still under investigation, but there is no immediate danger to students and staff, police said.

STAFFORD, NJ — Police are investigating a bomb threat at Southern Regional High School that was reported Tuesday.

Stafford police were notified by New Jersey State Police at 11:35 a.m. April 11 regarding a potential bomb threat at the high school, according to a news release.

Police, collaborating with school administration, immediately began an investigation into the threat.

The threat was determined to be unsubstantiated, police said, and there is no immediate danger to any students and staff. The district is continuing the day as usual "ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals within the school community," police said.
