JUNE 22: Walters Group to Host Info Session on Cornerstone at Barnegat Application Process

An information session will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 5 p.m. to discuss the application process for Cornerstone at Barnegat, a new affordable rental community for seniors (55+) being developed by Walters Group. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Stafford Preserve Apartments leasing office located at 101 Campbell Boulevard, Manahawkin.

The goal of the session is to discuss:

· The affordable housing application process for seniors

· Gain an understanding of the general eligibility criteria

· Learn about priority for residency as a Sandy-impacted individual

· Get information on when the application process will begin for Cornerstone at Barnegat

Cornerstone at Barnegat is being built on the corner of Route 9 and Georgetown Blvd., on a five-acre site. The modern three-story building will offer primarily one-bedroom units with balconies. Each residence will be equipped with ENERGY STAR® appliances, full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and emergency alert system. A 7,000-square-foot community clubhouse will include a long list of amenities such as a kitchen area, game room, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and conference room.
