LBI Cop Stole Silver Necklace From Evidence Room: OCPO
The Harvey Cedars officer was suspended without pay, officials said.

HARVEY CEDARS, NJ — A Harvey Cedars cop was charged Thursday with stealing a silver necklace from the police department's evidence room, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said. Christopher Oldham, of Manahawkin, was suspended without pay until the criminal charges resolve, the OCPO said.
The necklace was valued at over $200. Oldham was the custodian of evidence, the OCPO said.
Oldham indicated the necklace was unclaimed property and was turned over to the Borough of Harvey Cedars to be auctioned, officials said. An audit revealed the necklace was never turned over, according to the OCPO.
