An experienced rider of 13 years, Napoli was looking forward to spending the week in Daytona, so much so that he endured the early morning frigid 14 degree weather while leaving New Jersey on his Harley, according to the obituary.

Napoli was riding his motorcycle on I-95 in Brevard County, Fla. at about 7:45 a.m. when the speeding car rear-ended the motorcycle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Keyes-Walls, then 21, failed to slow when he struck Napoli's motorcycle, police said. He also was driving "aggressively," police said.

The motorcycle went off the roadway and struck a tree, briefly catching fire, police said.

Keyes-Walls' sentence will be followed by about two months of probation, Talk of Titusville reported. His driver's license will be permanently revoked and he will have to undergo 50 hours of community service, undergo substance abuse treatment and pay fines and court costs totaling $14,935, according to the report.
