Power Lines Down, Road Closed In Barnegat

Rosehill Road will be closed between Emerson Lane and Williams Street because power lines are down, Barnegat police said Monday. Barnegat Township Police Department posted the Nixle update at noon.

Powerful winds have left over 50,000 without power in New Jersey as of 12:30 p.m. Monday. Winds reached 60 mph on Long Beach Island, according to the National Weather Service.
