See Solar Eclipse, Learn About 'Shady' Plants At Stafford Library

Learn about plants that love the shade and witness the solar eclipse with special goggles at the Ocean County Library Stafford Branch.

STAFFORD, NJ — An abundance of shade can be a good thing, depending on the plant. Learn about plants that love the shade and then see shade on a bigger scale with a rare solar eclipse at the Ocean County Library Stafford Branch.

Dr. S. Ann Earon of the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Ocean County will teach you all about plants that thrive in shaded areas at the library on April 8 at 10:30 a.m.

And then, because a solar eclipse will occur that day, the library will offer participants special goggles to watch.
