Spodofora Rival Awarded $34,000 In Civil Suit

Retired Navy Master Chief Earl Galloway said Mayor John Spodofora retaliated against him when he said mayor lied about Vietnam War record.

A rival of Stafford Township Mayor John Spodofora who claimed that the mayor retaliated against him when he said Spodofora lied about his Vietnam War record has agreed to a $34,000 settlement with the township, according to nj.com

Retired Navy Master Chief Earl Galloway settled the lawsuit in June, more than two years after he posted a spoof Facebook page about the mayor's exaggerations and mistruths about his war record.

The news was first reported by NJ Civil Settlements, which provides a partial list of settlements paid by New Jersey government agencies and their insurers to those who have sued them.
