WEST CREEK, NJ — Most of the time, state troopers are responding to calls for help. But sometimes, they stop to get a fresh cup of lemonade and support local kids.

That was the case on Saturday when Troop “C” Tuckerton Station troopers stopped by a lemonade stand in West Creek. Memphis and Mikenna’s “Lemonade 4 First Aid” was set up to raise money for Stafford Township First Aid, and the troopers were happy to help support the cause.

"Thank you Memphis and Mikenna for the lemonade, and more importantly, thank you for supporting our local volunteer first aid workers," New Jersey State Police wrote on Facebook on Sunday. "Your dedication is an inspiration to us all."
