Published on Halloween, 2016, Z-Strain follows Abbigail Norrington and her three children through the terrifying trials and tribulations of what starts out as their first family trip since Abigail's husband passed away but quickly develops into a race to outrun the zombie infection that is hastily growing into a global pandemic.
Unfortunately, as Abby is left with only the option of survival for her and her children at all costs, she uncovers the catacomb of secrets that were supposed to be buried with her late husband and the infected prove to be the least of Abby’s problems.

Of course, when the dead start rising, it is inevitable that more than a few secrets are going to rise with them. However, eventually, Abby comes to the disturbing realization that it is what those that remain among the living have in store for her, that will pose the biggest threat…

Author, SJ Morris, 34, was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on Elmendorf Airforce Base, but now resides in Hamilton, New Jersey, with her husband of twelve years and their two children.

SJ Morris has written stories for as long as she can remember and is known as a masterful storyteller within her family and among her friends. Yet, it wasn’t until three years ago that she started focusing on her debut novel, officially entering the literary world with Z-Strain and is already working on her second novel.
